At Chamberlain’s nursing school in Indianapolis, you will get hands-on training in our on-site clinical setting and in our distinctive SIMCARE CENTER™. You will work with other students, faculty, mentors, and seasoned registered nurses as you gain critical skills in direct patient-care nursing.

The SIMCARE CENTER™ features a wide range of simulated care, and you will have the chance to learn nursing skills on high-tech patient manikins. Patient simulators have bodily functions, show vital signs, and demonstrate various symptoms. You can sharpen your nursing skills in a secure health care setting before moving on to living and breathing human patients in the clinicals portion of the Chamberlain Indianapolis curriculum.

You may go to Chamberlain Indianapolis after you graduate from high school—or after you pass the General Educational Development (GED®) test.
Requirements include:

A high school diploma with a 2.75 grade point average or higher;
Or a GED® test score of 551 if taken between 2002-2013;
Or a minimum score of 600 if taken in 2014 or after.
If you take the Health Education Systems Incorporated (HESI) Admission Assessment (A2) Exam, you will need a minimum score of 73.
