ACL Medical Training School provides students with quality and affordable Nurse Aide Training by experienced and caring Registered Nurses (RN’s) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN’s). Upon successful completion of State Exam an NA will become Certified in the state in which they reside. Earning potential once certified is $13-$18 per hour!!
Q.M.A.T
The Qualified Medication Aide must be a certified nurse aide who status is ACTIVE on the Nurse Aide Registry for your state. Medication aides give medication to patients in Assisted Living Facilities, State facilities or group home settings. Upon successful completion of State Exam QMA will become certified in the state they reside. QMA earning potential is between $16-$25 per hour on staff and $28 to $40 per hour with nursing staffing agencies.
QMA Insulin Administration
Effective 12/31/2019 the Indiana State Department of Health(ISDH) – Division of Long Term Care announced the release of the Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) – Insulin Administration Education Module. This education module is approved to train current and future QMAs in the administration of insulin to residents in Indiana licensed healthcare facilities. The Insulin Administration Education Module MUST be conducted through an Indiana approved Qualified Medication Aide Training Program by an approved Program Director. **Long-term Care Facilities can ONLY teach this course if the building is an Indiana approved Qualified Medication Aide Training Site and has an Indiana approved RN Program Director. The training must follow the approved curriculum.
