Bedford operates a municipal public transit system known as TASC, the Transit Authority of Stone City.

To use TASC, individuals contact the service and request a ride. TASC provides curb-to-curb transportation anywhere in the city from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

All trips are scheduled on a first come, first served basis, and with respect to the service's available time and space.

There is currently NO CHARGE for the TASC service.

TASC IS ACCESSIBLE
Individuals with mobility disabilities are welcome to use wheelchairs and manually powered mobility aids, i.e., walkers, crutches, canes, braces, or other similar devices designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities.
