Indiana State University's Early Childhood Education Center offers children a quality learning environment to ISU students, faculty members, staff members, and community families. In keeping with the University's Bayh College of Education mission, our program provides year-round professional care to children from infancy through age five through diverse educational experiences!
The ISU Early Childhood Education Center demonstrates quality early childhood education programs for young children and their parents with a commitment to cultural diversity.
The ECEC implements a developmentally appropriate curriculum based on the view that children learn best when they are actively exploring a carefully constructed environment in the company of loving, professionally prepared teachers. Our curriculum follows the Indiana Department of Education’s Foundations for Young Children, which supports the use of hands-on experiential learning.
We are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and licensed by the Department of Family and Children Services of the State of Indiana. Our program is affiliated with the ISU Bayh College of Education's Department of Teaching and Learning providing quality care for children ranging from 6 weeks - 5 years of age.
