Jeffersonville Dental Assistant School was founded to give students the opportunity to become Dental Assistants, providing all the skills, training, and requirements necessary to enter the local workforce. The curriculum is taught by passionate and knowledgeable school instructors who are excited to help students succeed in the field. Each week will consist of a combination of pre-recorded lectures, online learning activities, and hands-on lab skills.
Jeffersonville Dental Assistant School is accredited and regulated by the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, so our program provides everything needed to practice as an entry-level dental assistant once students pass the state RHS exam at the end. Upon completion, students will receive a Certificate of Completion showing they went through a training program, they'll be BLS (CPR) certified, and they'll get their Radiology Certificate once they pass the state RHS exam.
Hybrid Classes - Convenient classes at Jeffersonville Dental Assistant School make it easy to work around busy schedules. Each week will consist of a combination of pre-recorded lectures, online learning activities, and hands-on skills using your at-home lab kit. Lectures, online modules, and lab kit activities are completed during the week at your own pace, from the safety of your own home! These assignments will be due weekly.
Hands-on - We provide hands-on training in an actual dentist’s office to help students practice and retain information better. Each week, you will attend a 4.5 hour class dedicated specifically to learning and perfecting your lab skills in a real dental office in Franklin!
Dental Assistant Externship - Jeffersonville Dental Assistant School 40-hour externship program provides our students with the real-world experience they need to become confident and qualified dental assistants. The externship portion of our course allows our students the opportunity to work under the direct guidance of experienced dental professionals in a local dental office. Students at Jeffersonville Dental Assistant School are eligible to begin their externships after class 3. Student Success Specialists are here to help our students identify potential opportunities in the area and assist with applications.
