The Region 4 Workforce Board coordinates the activities of WorkOne offices for West Central Indiana (including Benton, Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Fountain, Howard, Miami, Montgomery, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Warren and White counties). The board is comprised of business, education, labor, community, faith-based and economic development leaders who are responsible for the strategic vision of workforce development and governance of WorkOne in West Central Indiana. The Board also provides effective planning, policy development, and oversight of programs and services.

By providing skills and knowledge, we will make our region known for its innovation and a national model for workforce development that is bursting with opportunity.

The Region 4 Workforce Board provides the following programming:

Workforce Investment Opportunity Grant (WIOA) - Employment and training services for adults, dislocated workers, and youth and Wagner-Peyser employment services administered by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) through formula grants to states.
WorkKeys - WorkKeys profilers work with company experts to define profiles based on job duties and skills required for an individual to be proficient. Employees skills and abilities are aligned with their jobs, boosting moral and increasing productivity.
Wabash Heartland Innovation Network Initiative (WHIN) - The project will develop and offer authentic, hands-on, industry-education activities for K-12 students in the region.
Jobs for America's Graduates - Jobs for America’s Graduates, or JAG, is a school-to-career program to keep young people in school through graduation and provide work-based learning experiences that will lead to career advancement opportunities or enrollment in a postsecondary institution that will lead to a rewarding career.
Rural Healthcare Grant - The Rural Healthcare Grant Program is designed to alleviate healthcare workforce shortages by creating sustainable employment and training programs in healthcare occupations. This program will train individuals whose employment status when determined eligible for the program is unemployed, underemployed, or an incumbent worker.
