Local WorkOne centers, located throughout the state, provide individuals and businesses with targeted services to advance individuals' careers and address employers' talent development needs. Utilizing federal Workforce Investment and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funds and programming, WorkOne staff stand ready to address local needs with targeted support.

WIOA programming provides career and training services to millions of job seekers across the country.

Services provided by WorkOne staff include:

Job Search Assistance - Staff assist individuals in understanding current skills, identifying potential career paths and opportunities, resume consultation and development, and guidance in the application process.
Occupational Skills Training - When appropriate, the WorkOne will staff assist individuals in identifying and accessing relevant skills training opportunities in order to make them more marketable of emerging careers.
On-the-Job Training - By partnering with with local employers, the WorkOne staff can connect individuals and employers to manage on-the-job training opportunities in order to build a talented and skilled workforce immediately.

The WorkOne staff not only provides the relevant training and support, but can also provide specific wrap-around services (e.g. transportation, childcare, etc.) that support the individual and increase positive outcomes.
