Details

The Employer Training Grant helps employers take their employees’ skills to the next level. For employers who guide new and current employees through occupational training, this grant provides a reimbursement of up to $5,000 per employee trained and retained for six months up to $50,000 per employer. Although the program is currently pausing applications, this resource will be updated as new funds become available.

REQUIREMENTS

The training must fall into one of the following industry sectors:

Advanced Manufacturing
Agriculture
IT & Business Services
Building & Construction
Health & Life Sciences
Transportation & Logistics

The training must:

Focus on skills that tie to an in-demand occupation (this does not include informal job shadowing or onboarding).
Last at least 40 hours and result in a certificate or credential when completed.
Ensure that current employees receive a wage gain upon completion (there is currently no wage requirement for new hires trained).
