Wabash Heartland Innovation Network is focused upon serving 10 counties: Pulaski, White, Cass, Benton, Carroll, Tippecanoe, Warren, Fountain, Montgomery, and Clinton. By promoting smart technology throughout these 10 counties, WHIN is aiming to become the first recognized smart region in the nation. Wabash Heartland Innovation Network is deploying hundreds of weather stations across our region and sharing information our farmers can use to become more efficient, save time, and increase yields. WHIN Ag Alliance is an exclusive consortium of affiliated agribusinesses in north-central Indiana receiving products and services designed to support and encourage adoption of internet-enabled technologies in order to reduce costs, increase efficiencies, and optimize operations.

WHIN MFG Alliance is an exclusive consortium of affiliated manufacturers in north-central Indiana receiving products and services designed to support and encourage adoption of internet-enabled technologies in order to reduce costs, increase efficiencies, and optimize operations. WHIN will be working with regional ISPs to bring connectivity and internet-enabled applications to the Wabash Heartland region. WHIN is in the process of building a network of LoRaWAN radio towers throughout WHIN’s ten-county region to provide wireless connectivity sufficient to support the IoT technologies we’re deploying.
