Vincennes University’s Gene Haas Training and Education Center serves Boone County’s manufacturing industry and workforce with CNC and Industrial Maintenance Training.

VU's Gene Haas Training and Education Center serves Boone County’s manufacturing industry and workforce.

Students in the CNC training learn how to produce metal parts for everything from Automobiles to Zippers and everything in between. The program is accessible to adult learners with or without experience, Veterans, incumbent workers, and teachers, and provides hands-on training using industry-standard Haas machines and related equipment.

The Industrial Maintenance training is accessible to entry-level workers and beyond. Students learn the core foundational skills to develop into multi-skilled Industrial Maintenance Technicians through hands-on training and simulation of real-life event.
